Cripple Dog Hot Rods, Sterling Classic Car Shows and Boone Hall Plantation is proud to announce the second annual Carolina Open Car Classic & Hot Rod Run this Dec. 5th, 6th, & 7th, 2008 once again at the beautiful & historic Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina! 730 acres of traditional "Old South" grace & beauty will be transformed into the most anticipated event in the southeast! We expect well over 1000 of the very finest antique cars & trucks, street rods, muscle cars, imports & exotics of every make & model to be lined up “Under the Oaks” and we want to see you there! We have 10 host hotels all within 10 minutes driving time of the plantation, (Click on Host Hotel page) and there is plenty of room for your haulers, transports & RV’s right here on the plantation, so mark your calendars now!

Southern Belle Competition: See beautiful young ladies from all over the Old South dressed in authentic “Antebellum Era” dresses compete for the coveted title of “Miss Classic Carolina”, 2008!
Mickey Mouse Theatre: Drop your little ones off & our licensed and certfied child care professionals will watch over them, or you can stay with them and watch the old classic cartoons & T.V. shows from a time when there were no “R” ratings on our giant Mickey Mouse Big Screens!
Cripple Dog's "Black Hole" slide: Bring the kids by the FUN ZONE where they can climb up the 3 story high Black Hole Slide and slide down! Non stop fun for the kids!
Little Talladega Speedway: (All proceeds go to Ernie Irvan’s Race2Safety Foundation) Come and join kids of every age racing each other on Cripple Dog’s giant 8 lane slot car track! It is a 36’ replica of the famous high banked Talladega speedway!
The Ladies Oasis: A luxurious cathedral top tent where the ladies can drop in and get a massage, manicure or pedicure while the men are gawking over the finest classic automobiles on the east coast!
Shag Contest: Professional Shaggers from around the Carolinas will be competing for cash, trophies & prestige at the officially sanctioned and professionally judged Shag Dance Contest! Divisions will include professional, amateur, novice & juniors!

Cripple Dog Shop Truck: Getting close and have a problem? Call us and Hank will come running! If you have a mechanical problem within 50 miles of the Plantation, Cripple Dog Hot Rods will dispatch our own 1960 Ford F-100 shop truck complete with water, gas, battery, a few tools, most anything you may need to get to the show!
